I wasn’t born a rebel against food and Pharma.
I was made one.

Kind, civil, humorous, but deadly serious.

Why I Do This

By my mid-40s, I was obese (grade III), insulin-resistant, diagnosed with dyslipidemia, swollen with edema, and gasping with sleep apnea. I had turned from a slender, almost skinny girl in my twenties into a sick, suffering woman.

I tried everything. Every diet you can name. Nutritionists, weight-loss programs, calorie counting, meal plans. They all “worked”—but only if I lived chained to the math of labels and the rituals of restriction. I became fluent in the chemical names of sugars and carbs, not because I wanted to, but because survival demanded it.

And still, the system failed me. The food industry sold me poison as “balance.” Pharma offered pills instead of solutions.

This project is my line in the sand. My refusal to accept that suffering is normal. My way of saying: enough.

Who I Am

My name is Calina Aliman-Dorneanu.
I am a writer, publishing under my pen name.
I am a graphic and web designer, founder of Armony Web Design.
I am also my only employee — a company of one.

But above all, I am an advocate of human-designed food.
Not lab inventions, not calorie prisons, but food that makes us thrive.

I speak as I live: kind, civil, humorous, but deadly serious.

What You’ll Find Here

Everything I point you to, I’ve tried. I read broadly, dig through data, studies, books, and long-form conversations. I don’t invent myths; I listen to people who build, study, and heal—then I distill. What you read here is my best judgment, aligned with biology, common sense, and—when it matters—Scripture.

  • Tested, then researched: N=1 in practice, cross-checked with credible evidence.

  • First principles over trends: no sponsorship spin, no buzzword diets.

  • Plain language, clear sources: so you can verify and decide.

  • Kind, civil, humorous, deadly serious: resistance without shouting.

How to read this: think for yourself. Question, replicate, measure. Keep what strengthens you; discard the rest.

What you won’t find: weight-loss gimmicks, “balance” as code for junk, detox theater, pharma fan-fiction, miracle claims.

Read with your own mind. Verify. Thrive.
